Vacancy: Y2-4 teacher

Lake Rerewhakaaitu School is seeking an enthusiastic teacher with a sound understanding of literacy and numeracy at the junior level.

We are a small rural school at the heart of the Rerewhakaaitu community, located minutes from Lake Rerewhakaaitu, and surrounded by tranquil forest and farmland. We have remarkable students, supportive colleagues, and a community that wants the best for their tamariki. 

The successful applicant will be a flexible team player who has the ability to establish and foster effective relationships with parents and colleagues, and be passionate about ensuring that our Year 2-4 students make the best start to their primary school journey. An understanding of a structured approach to literacy is a distinct advantage.

The position will be in the Year 2-4 class, starting Term 4 2024.
